Telemark and Alpine skiing in Austria

We seem to be spending more and more time in Austria with our Telemark ski courses and Telemark/Alpine off-piste and tours! Apart from some great terrain – which offers everything an intermediate skier and tourer would want (but avoiding the more serious nature of the Western Alps) – Austria offers great value for money at its ski resort hotels and in its ski touring huts.

This year we are offering a range of skiing holidays and courses in two Austrian venues: Hintertux and Kühtai.

A summary of Alpine and Telemark skiing in Austria is shown below – click the tour or course name for more details.

Hintertux: All Terrain – early season Telemark skiing instruction – with guaranteed snow.
13/11/10 – 20/11/10 Levels 2 – 5
20/11/10 – 27/11/10 Levels 2 – 4

Hintertux: Advanced Skills and Aspirant Instructors – early season ‘skills sharpening’ for skiers wanting to ski at their best and/or for aspirant instructors training prior to Bristish Association of Ski Instructors Telemark instructor courses.
20/11/10 – 27/11/10 Levels 4 – 5

Kühtai: All Terrain – high altitude resort, reliable snow, easy access and perfect terrain.
12/03/11 – 19/03/11 Levels 2 – 4

Kühtai: Off-piste Performance – easy access to a whole range of off-piste slopes makes this an ideal venue for developing your off-piste skills.
12/03/11 – 19/03/11 Levels 3 – 4

Kühtai: Off-piste Adventure/Day Tours – high altitude and use of uplift gives unrivalled access to superb off-piste runs, some excellent coaching terrain and day tours that, with the benefit of uplift, have more 'down' than 'up'! Great for those new to ski touring – or those who prefer a hotel to a 'hut' at the end of the day!
12/03/11 – 19/03/11 Levels 4 – 5
