Finding out more about the trip
You will need more information about the trip or trips you are interested in:

The relevant Trip Dossier can be obtained by filling in the on-line form on-line form, to access and download a pdf version of the Dossier, to have the Dossier e-mailed to you or to have it sent by snail-mail. |

The Dossier will have full descriptions of itineraries, details of instruction, travel options, accommodation, costs, etc. |

Full Booking Conditions and exactly what the cost of each trip includes and excludes will be found in the Trip Dossiers. |

Your booking may be for INSTRUCTION ONLY and/or for TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION or for a FULL PACKAGE. We operate as agents for the major tour operators Crystal and Thomsons and can conveniently provide travel and accommodation arrangements for any of our instruction or touring trips – see Discounts on the right and Groups below for added incentives! |

At this stage we are very happy for you to contact us to discuss any aspect of the trips you are interested in. Probably 99% of our clients speak to us on the phone before booking, to check on any aspect of the trip. It is especially worthwhile phoning or e-mailing to discuss skiing ability levels and whether you are considering the most suitable trip from that point of view. |

Booking

Once you receive the Trip Dossier you will have everything you need to go ahead with a booking. |

Make any relevant travel and accommodation arrangements with us, if not included in your chosen trip arrangements as detailed in the Dossier. Such arrangements may be 'independent' or with a tour operator (see above). |

Simply complete the Booking Form and return it to the Telemark Ski Company to secure your booking. |

Payments
Payments can be made by cheque, internet banking, bank transfer or Paypal. Bank transfers and Paypal will accrue additional charges and these charges are your responsibility – we can supply details of Paypal charges on request.
Payments for courses or tours will normally be in 2 stages:

a deposit at the time of booking. |
|
the balance, usually 8 weeks prior to your departure date or as specified on your Confirmation Letter. |
If bookings are made less than 8 weeks prior to the departure date full payment will normally be required when you book. To minimise bank transfer or Paypal costs you may choose to pay in full at the time of booking i.e. a single transfer subject to charges. As for all monies we receive, refunds in event of cancellation, etc. will still be possible as detailed in the Booking Conditions (see Trip Dossier).
Useful information and FAQs
• MY SKIING IS SO-SO, WILL I FIT IN?
People often ask if their skiing ability is compatible to that of others in the group. You will find more guidance in the Dossiers but please phone if you would like further help over this. Generally 'mixed abilities' are not a problem as we subdivide instruction groups so that people are of like ability in a group. Instruction and feedback is then specific and relevant to all and progress is greater.
• GROUPS, CLUBS AND TAILOR-MADE:
With a minimum of 6 in a group, we will be very happy to offer a discount on our rates and we can also arrange a trip, ski tour or ski course to suit your specific needs or ideas. You will also benefit from further reductions for travel and accommodation, e.g. 1 FREE place for 6 paying customers.
• SINGLES:
Singles regularly come on our ski courses and telemark holidays and the overall mix of singles, couples, families and small groups generally ensures an excellent social focus to our weeks. Everybody comes for free-heel skiing – there is a lot to talk about and many experiences to share! We can often arrange singles to share accommodation and avoid the dreaded 'single supplement' or arrange a single room, and supplement, if preferred.
• TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION ONLY:
We can provide travel and accommodation arrangements for those not requiring instruction and are simply seeking a good value skiing holiday. There is a vast range of resorts and countries to chose from, many of those are suitable for nordic ski touring as well as piste-based telemark skiing and we can suggest resorts that are good for your kind of skiing. It is definitely worth a phone call to find out more! ! If you are thinking of booking with Crystal or Thomson's we can offer 5% off their brochure prices!
• NO-FLIGHT OPTIONS:
If you wish to make your own travel plans, we can adjust our prices and arrange for you to join a group closer to the snow! Improved road links, low-cost airlines, newspaper offers, etc. are all part of the equation these days!
• ADVICE AND EQUIPMENT:
We are always happy to discuss any queries you might have about telemark ski equipment, clothing, waxes, ski locations, etc. If you are thinking of buying or hiring before one of our trips, a quick chat about gear will help with the right skis, boots, etc. for that trip and ensure a more rewarding ski experience as a result.
• JUST WHAT IS THE SKIING THAT THE TELESKICO DOES?
There is a storm of terminology and misconceptions surrounding what we do on, in the broadest sense, free-heel skis. Read 'Nordic or Telemark?' on the articles pages and all will become a lot clearer!

YOUR FINANCIAL SECURITY Anyone selling full package holidays to the public are legally obliged to have some form of 'bonding' so that the customer is financially protected if the tour operator fails. In this respect The Telemark Ski Company have arrangements with ATOL and ABTA tour operators or TOFC Insurance cover, as detailed in the Course and Tour Dossiers. |

5% off travel & accommodation package costs, for full payments received prior to 10 weeks before the departure date! (ONLY applicable to main travel and accommodation elements provided by Crystal or Thomson bought through us and excludes any ski hire, ski tickets and skis on flight). |

5% off our instruction or leadership fee if you return for a second time (or more!) within the '07–'08 season. For 'Full Package' arrangements this discount is off the instruction / leadership element only of that package cost. |

5% off instruction or leadership fee (or that element ONLY of Full Package arrangements) if booking and full payment received no later than 12 weeks prior to the departure date. |

The maximum discount off our instruction / leadership fees for any one booking would be 10% i.e. comprising early booking and payment as described by the 3rd bullet point and return visits this season as described by the 2nd bullet point. |
